The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing sales office operations and support duties for the Walmart/Sam’s National Accounts Sales Team warehouse business.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule shipments with customer service and warehouse
- Communicate with inside and outside carriers as needed
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents as needed
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues
- Ensure compliance with customer and company policies-palletization, shipping temp, damage,
- Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams
- Maintain accurate shipping records
- Maintain price files
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and 2+ years’ related sales administration and coordination experience. *Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.
- Work requires experience in sales administration and basic sales analysis as needed
- Ability to utilize all Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel
- Work may require the ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Basic knowledge of grocery industry is helpful
- Basic understanding of how internal departments operate together.
