Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Performs routine and extensive grounds keeping maintenance and building maintenance duties on all property buildings and facilities.
- Ensures that the weekly preventive maintenance program is being followed and that forms are being filled out correctly.
- Makes repairs to any building fixture (walls, floor, doors, windows, etc.)
- Completes building electrical work (i.e., new outlets, lights, minor repairs).
- Repair plumbing leaks of all types (air, gas, water, etc.)
- Makes improvement to building by making minor repairs and remodeling (i.e., painting, laying tile, etc.)
- Makes repairs to restrooms, water fountain, and other necessary utilities for the building.
- May perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping.
- May perform routine laboring and maintenance duties when grounds keeping work has been completed.
- Follow (LO/TO) all Safety procedures and Company Safety Policy.
- Complete tasks indicated on work orders, inspections and A.I.B. checklists as directed by supervisor.
- Assists in the training of new personnel.
- Follows Company, GMP and Safety policies to ensure compliance with the HACCP program and AIB gold standard.
- Works in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements.
- Participates in monthly departmental meetings.
- All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of experience with Building and Grounds Maintenance in a manufacturing facility required, food industry highly preferred. With a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity (or 4 years as a lead) in a manufacturing environment required. Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Able to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends.
- Familiar with GMP’s and AIB standards.
- Experience with regulatory inspectors: AIB, BRC, OSHA, Military, Health Department, EPA, City & County Inspectors).
- Good Communication Skills
- Bilingual (Spanish / English)
- Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repairs and maintenance.
- Knowledge of HVAC and experience in electrical and plumbing
- Bilingual(Spanish / English) preferred
Salary: $69,400- $ 92,500 Plus $3K yearly Target Bonus.
This position is eligible for relocation assistance.
