Effectively manages and controls multiple Logistics Distribution Centers by running a well maintained, clean, safe, and cost-effective warehouse operation. “Owns” all logistics costs within their defined region. Guarantees that Key Performance Indicators target goals are being met. Monitors and guarantees that the operation is running within budget. Identify and Implement cost-saving/performance improvement opportunities. Actively participate with the Transportation and Sales Areas to recommend/implement changes to reduce our Supply Chain least landed cost. Supports / Recommends the development of Logistics Policies and Procedures and guarantees that they are being communicated to all personnel to the regions under his/her responsibility and that they are being followed as indicated. #zr
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Business, or related field required. 3 years of experience in Warehouse/Logistics/Shipping required. Bakery or food/beverage environment preferred. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity in a logistics/manufacturing environment required. Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above
