This position is responsible for selling and executing sales programs in the assigned region. Key customer contact for all selling activities for the customer in order to provide key benefits of products offered.
- Develop key programs to grow the business and achieve the sales plan.
- Advise and provide key benefits on company products to customers to become the category leader.
- Inform and advise the customer on sales trends and opportunities in the category.
- Control promotional expenses.
- Establish and build customer relationships to grow the business.
- Ensure maximum sales through promotional activity and space management.
- Provide input in the development of sales plans through analysis of syndicated and consumer data.
- Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and 4+ years in sales account management experience required. Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Work requires experience in key account sales in consumer products, particularly perishable food products.
- Work requires experience to anticipate and react to customer needs.
- Work requires ability to negotiate effectively and persuade others.
- Work requires ability analyze data, draw conclusions and make recommendations based on data.
- Work requires ability to communicate effectively through oral presentations and written reports.
- Work requires ability to plan long term objectives and short term activities to achieve them.
- Work strongly prefers ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
- Work requires a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Work requires basic knowledge of the grocery industry.
Salary Range $99,600 to $129,400, plus 20% Discretionary Bonus, Car Benefit, and a Full Benefit Packet including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, Life insurance and AD&D Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance, and Flexible Spending Accounts. Additionally, we offer a 401(k) plan with matching. Vacation Pay and 8 Paid Holidays.
