Total Quality Manager

Our plant in New Brighton, MN is looking for an experienced Total Quality Manager. The Total Quality Manager is responsible for partnering with the rest of the organization to consistently develop, produce and supply products that exceed customer and consumer expectations.

Total Quality Manager Responsibilities

• Partner with the rest of the organization to consistently develop, produce and supply products that exceed customer and consumer expectations.

• Protect the brand(s) ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Engage everybody in the organization to strive for the highest standards of the quality system.

• Monitor and ensure the continuous improvement of the food safety program.

• Assure that products are being produced in conformance with Food Safety Practices.

• Facilitate training and is held accountable for Product Food Safety during all the processing steps at the Plant Level.

• Mentor and develop the Quality Assurance Supervisor(s) and the Quality Assurance team.

• Ensures compliance with the HACCP program and AIB

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in chemical engineering or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a quality assurance role in food or beverage manufacturing. Requires two years of experience in the following:

1. Quality assurance or quality control within a food manufacturing environment.

2. HACCP, AIB, PCQI, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA/USDA regulations;

3. Leading quality assurance teams;

4. Implementing and monitoring continuous improvement initiatives;

5. Designing and conducting training programs;

6. Enterprise resource planning software such as SAP;
