Under limited supervision, the Manager Scan Based Trading (SBT) will manage the Company Scan-based trading (SBT) initiative.  This position is the SME and will coordinate internal resources to successfully transition existing/selected direct-store-delivery (DSD) relationships to an SBT model as well as provide internal support when new customers are introduced to the SBT Program.

 

  • Manages the development and implementation of continuous upgrading of the SBT Program
  • Develops and executes customer transitional strategy transitioning a DSD customer to an SBT relationship.
  • Coordinates all SBT Program activities with appropriate departments (sales, sales ops, data sync, SBT process changes, customer store ops, accounting, MIS, internal training, shrink analysis) at the appropriate time in the lifecycle of the program.
  • Continuously reviews process exception reports and key performance indicators of the SBT process to identify issues; maintains a log of issues and communicates with appropriate departments for resolution.
  • Develops communications and coordinates SBT Program communication for internal and external resources.
  • Develops SBT materials as relevant to internal and external stakeholder’s dependent on SBT Program lifecycle (onboarding a new customer, coordinating data sync, defining buyback schedules, coordination of training/process change execution, analyzing / settling shrink)
  • Acts as security administrator and power user of SBT application (interfacing with third party solution provider, Park City Group's Prescient SBT system)
  • Organizes and leads all meetings as related to SBT Program, including but not limited to customer engagement, process change, customer communication, business process change, shrink and missing sales recoveries.
  • Prepares the annual budget for the SBT Unit.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

 

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent and 8 years in a financial analyst role or similar. Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Understands concepts of invoicing, accounts receivables, inventories, and settlements.
  • Advanced Excel abilities.
  • Data analysis (collection of large data sets, identify trends & exceptions, summarize data).
  • Very organized, attention to detail (ability to follow up on multiple issues, keep documentation of issues, do not lose information).
  • Technology savvy (usage of data analysis tools, reports, graphs).
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills (can discuss issues at different levels of organization and with external partners with varying levels of expertise).
  • Problem solver.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Must be disciplined and able to work unsupervised.
