Quality Asssurance Clerk - Part Time

A detail-oriented and organized individual responsible for coordinating the corporate product evaluation program and for supporting the daily operations of the Corporate Quality Department.

This is a part time position working 30 hours per week approximately. Availability to work additional hours as needed required.

 

  1. Product Evaluation Program:
    • Receive and register all samples received for product evaluation.
    • Prepare all samples and create the evaluation forms.
    • Coordinate the scheduling for conducting the evaluations.
    • Facilitate the product evaluations and generate the reports.
    • Accurately enter and update data into product evaluation databases, and spreadsheets.
    • Maintain and organize files, documentation, and records.
    • Assist in entering corrective actions in Intelex and following up on the status of these.
    • Create weekly and monthly reports and submitted on time.
    • Ensure the supplies needed are maintained and replenished as necessary.
    • Maintain product evaluation rooms organized and clean.

 

  1. Covers the Contact Center Agent position during breaks and time-off taken by the agents.

 

  1. Product/Service Knowledge:
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products.
    • Stay updated on product changes and new products.

 

  1. Other Duties
    • Receive and maintain a daily log for samples sent to the VP of Quality.
    • Perform administrative tasks related to the Quality Department operation
    • Participates in company projects when required.
    • Perform other duties in the Quality Department as required.
    • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development activities.
    • All other duties as assigned.

 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required, associate degree preferred. 2 years of previous experience in quality control, quality assurance, or administrative support within a manufacturing or service-oriented industry. *Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.

 

  • Proficient in relevant computer applications (Excel, Word).
  • Strong focus on accuracy and detail in all aspects of data entry, reporting, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of call center telephony and technology.
  • Knowledge of administration and clerical processes.
  • Bilingual (English - Spanish) required. Fluent in both languages, verbal and written.
