Brief Summary of Position:
Under limited supervision, owns, controls and coordinates the credit card program with other departments in Mission Foods and Amex.
- Coordinates the Credit Card program with the card holders at the Plants, DC’s and Corporate.
- Links the credit card to the particular related vendors that apply to that credit card.
- Coordinates with the weekly closings/approvals process for the CAR Program according to the guidelines in the policy and manual for Credit cards.
- Monitors credit card statements daily to analyze vendor charge activity for proper usage, policy compliance, and spend amounts.
- Performs one-on-one training to new card holders, approvers/managers and any persons that need to understand and perform duties linked to the CAR or card program.
- Practices customer service and confidentiality in the performance of job duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years’ experience required in procurement, accounting or customer service.
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.
- Bilingual Spanish required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Work requires ability to coordinate and maintain purchasing systems and procedures.
- Work requires ability to properly interpret and make decisions in accordance with laws, regulations, and policies.
- Work requires ability to work cooperatively with executive and management staff and all levels of employees.
- Work requires good customer service skills.
- Work requires ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
- Work requires proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Work requires being high level of accuracy and attention to details.
- Must have good presentation skills for training card users and approvers.
- Must Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
