We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced National Accounts Team Leader to spearhead our partnership with Absco/Costco. In this key leadership role, you will act as the primary liaison between Regional Field Sales and the Vice President of National Accounts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and growth initiatives. Under limited supervision, you'll drive collaborative strategies, optimize field execution, and deliver impactful sales results. #ZR

 

  • Lead integration of retail execution with field sales teams, including District, Area, and Division Sales Managers, as well as retail service brokers where applicable.
  • Align national account sales strategy with overarching company goals to drive revenue and profit growth.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for major sales and agency relationships with Absco/Costco.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, regional leadership, and finance to maximize business opportunities.
  • Provide coordination and strategic direction to Regional Business Development Managers (BDMs).
  • Manage operating budgets, trade spending, promotions, and other sales-related budgets.
  • Develop and implement a category management approach for assigned national accounts.
  • Identify and execute future growth opportunities through strategic planning.
  • Oversee category advisor responsibilities, ensuring compliance with customer standards.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team structure to support national account success.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. 10-15 years related Foodservice industry sales management experience required. Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.

 

· Proven experience managing and growing national accounts.

· Demonstrated leadership across multiple teams and cross-functional groups.

· Familiarity with Absco/Costco business operations and retail processes.

· Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret syndicated data (e.g., AC Nielsen), account and retail data systems (e.g., Panorama).

· Strategic thinker with excellent prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Solid understanding of the grocery/retail industry and evolving market trends.

· Ability to communicate in Spanish and English both verbal and written.

· Primarily office-based with regular travel (up to 50%) required for business meetings and field support.
