The HRIS Analyst provides transactional and analytical support in the functional areas of human resources information systems. Develop, modify and run ad hoc queries to produce HRIS reports from SAP/SuccessFactors for compensation, benefits, HR operations, etc. Train and support the field HRIS users. Build and Implement SuccessFactors system. Provide support to Compensation and Benefits.
- Help ensure employee data integrity and accuracy in HRIS (SAP/SuccessFactors) and other appropriate records management for reporting and regulatory compliance (SOX, PMP, EEO, AAP, training, etc.).
- Create/Run periodic HRIS standardized reports (e.g. monthly employee download). Create new ad hoc reports and save the ones that will become recurring.
- Provide HRIS support to the HR team in the field.
- Run reports from HRIS analyzing the data for errors (e.g. birth date that looks like a hire date).
- Work with field HR to correct errors and prevent data inaccuracy.
- Create and update training/reference manuals. Provide user training in SAP/SuccessFactors and any new HRIS applications.
- Manage the annual Hourly General Increase Program and related wage scales by location.
- Update/Maintain the reporting relationships functionality inside HRIS.
- Provide other support to Compensation participating in salary surveys, creating spreadsheets for various projects such as merit planning, quarterly bonus program, etc.
- Upload pay increases, bonuses, etc. into SuccessFactors.
- Provide data entry support/backup.
- Work with Payroll Department to ensure coordination of data in Payroll system. Compare data between HRIS and payroll system; make changes in HRIS as appropriate.
- Conduct research and reporting for special projects/reports/metrics, such as headcount reports, compensation and/or benefit survey participation, compensation analysis, benefits analysis, turnover analysis, etc.
- Utilize Excel and/or Access to build databases and analyze employee data to generate metrics, identify issues, problems and trends and to determine business impact.
- Responsible for the implementation of HRIS procedures and new systems like Success/Factors.
- Perform duties in a highly confidential manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or Computer Science related technical field, plus 3 years of experience in HRIS. Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Requires highly proficient Microsoft Office software skills especially advanced Excel, including macros.
- Requires medium to advanced level computer skills on other software.
- Requires SAP/SuccessFactors or other HRIS knowledge.
- Requires ability to be multi-task oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Requires attention to detail.
- Requires a record of being highly confidential.
- Requires communication of information in a professional manner to all levels of personnel.
- Requires ability to prioritize work assignments among conflicting demands.
- Requires the ability to analyze data and information effectively and consistently.
- Additional other HR experience preferred.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
