MRP Controller Analyst

This position monitors the SAP Stock/Requirements List functionality and communicates the outcome to all responsible parties daily. Monitors and upkeeps SAP MRP system.  Ensures proper MRP setup for all materials to allow adequate stock/requirements functionality.

 

  • Ensures proper MRP setup for all materials in all locations to permit their correct operation.
  • Monitors the prompt execution of the MRP/MPS system by their operators (schedulers and planners).
  • With support of the MRP dashboard, follows up with all people interacting with MRP to attend to past due transactions, providing support and ensuring prompt corrections.
  • Organizes weekly meetings by location to inform department heads on past due transactions trends.
  • Works closely with the procurement organization to ensure there are no past due planned orders, purchase orders, and/or purchase requisitions for raw and packaging materials.
  • Works closely with the sales organization to ensure there are no past due sales orders and deliveries.
  • Works closely with the maintenance organization to ensure there are no past due purchase orders and purchase requisitions for spare parts.
  • Works closely with the quality management organization to ensure there are no past due quality lot inspections.
  • Works closely with the manufacturing organization to ensure there are no past due planned orders for finished goods and dependent requirements for minor ingredients.
  • Works closely with the demand planning organization to ensure there are no past due forecast independent requirements.
  • Works closely with the logistics organization to ensure there are no past due stock transport orders and shipping notifications.
  • Performs other job duties as required.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.  Three years of experience in any related S&OP fields such as demand and capacity planning, forecasting, etc.  Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above. 

 

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills particularly in Excel spreadsheets.
  • Previous experience working with SAP PP, MRP, SAP IBP and SAP APO
